Zen’s Den

Funded through grants from the Community Foundation for Mason County - MI and Great Lakes Energy People Fund, this new social-emotional learning exhibit features “Zen.”

Zen is a caring character who invites children in to explore hands-on activities that help them understand emotions, emotional needs and positive practices. In Zen’s cottage children and their caregivers can build faces of different emotions, “shred” their worries in a worry shredder, cuddle with knitted emotions made my members of the Knittin at the Mittin group, and more!
