Budding Naturalist

This exhibit emphasizes the science of nature. It features Fern’s Discovery Lab with a microscope that can be used to study scientific slides to learn more about plants, animals, and insects. It also features an interactive, imaginary Walk in the Woods. Follow a map to find different stations to learn about natural settings using your senses to observe and gather information. Interactive sound buttons will allow you to listen to sounds you might hear in the woods: an owl, a frog, crickets, and coyotes.
